"Living out a faith that works"

This Sunday, Pastor Jenn wrapped up our series in the book of James by looking at the engine that keeps us going as followers of Jesus: prayer. As Watchman Nee wrote, “Our prayers lay the track down which God’s power can come. Like a mighty locomotive, his power is irresistible, but it cannot reach us without rails.” In prayer, we stand with one foot on earth, one in heaven, asking God to make earth look more like heaven.
