James 5:1-6

"Living out a faith that works"

Instead of using our wealth for the benefit of others, we live in a culture that uses its wealth for itself. This is called materialism. James says materialism has eroded both our own hearts and our relationships with others. Earthy wealth is temporary. It has already rotted and corroded, James says. He also says that our own lives and our relationships are rotted and corroded. God’s word, though, instructs us to use earthly wealth to invest in eternal wealth that will not rot or corrode.

How do we do this? Stay tuned in today’s message to hear more.
